Are tiny carpet particles in the air dangerous to my lungs?
I had new carpet put into my entire house (nylon and polyester), at the end the installer told me his vacuum is broken so I need to vacuum up the carpet particles. I have been vacuuming the past 8 weeks 2- 3 times a week and my vacuum cleaner was plugged several times with tiny-tiny carpet pieces, they can invisible fly in the air like dust. Anyway I am worried that my family is breathing these particles in for several weeks now. What should I do? Do you think it is dangerous or I am over reacting?
ANY tiny foreign particles floating in the air aren’t best if inhaled, just to varying degrees. Hopefully, this is one of those lesser degree situations. If anyone does develop a respiratory ailment, remember to mention this to the doctor treating them.
