Decorative Thread

I just got a Janome MC4900QC, works fine, but thread produces lint with decorative stitches…?
What brand of quality sewing thread do you recommend? Can I use embroidery thread with the machine?

Cheap thread causes the lint build up.
I use Mettler, silk finish, 50 weight thread for sewing. I find this leaves very little lint in the bobbin case
The rayon embrodiery threads are great for decorative stitches. I use Mettler, Sulky and Robinson Anton
You need to clean the bobbin case often. Lint build up there is from fabrics as well as thread.
