Your Perfect French Manicure

File and Polish Natural Nails

manicure/pedicure helps prevent nail damage, hang nail, and overgrown cuticles.

Each nail should be shaped to your desired style, you will nead a soft nail file, also called embery board.

To shape your nails always use the softer side of the nail file. You are always filing the free edge of the nail. (free ege of the nail is the nail tip)

For a square shaped nail, you need to file both sides very straight and then straight across the top.

Square and Round, just file the nails as you would a square shape, just take the corners off to make the nail look softer, dont file too much you can end up with an oval shape.

Square/Round nails are the strongest shaped nails.

Oval or Round shape,  use same procedure as above just file over to the centre of the free edge, do the same on the otherside, your nail will look very pointed, some people do like this look. To make it look softer just round the free edge.

Whether you prefer white-trimmed French manicures, long glamorous nails in femme fatale red or short, clear polished ones, manicures and pedicures are a wonderful way to pamper yourself and relax your two most important extremities:

Your Next step, you have filed your nails to the shape you like, you now need to apply the colour, before applying the colour remove all the nail dust off your hands by dampening the some lint free cotton wool with Acetone Free Nail Polish Remover. Try not to touch the nails with your hands, you could add moisture to the nails, this will cause your colour to lift.

Base coat base coat is vital for that perfect natural look, french manicure or using a colour, also to help maintain the look and taking care of your nails.  I  would recommend bio sculpture      Lavender Base enriched with lavender essential oil to aid with moisturising and softening dry, brittle and flaky nail. One coat may be applied under colour polish or two coats can be used as a lovely soft colour. Lavender base is ideal to heal fungal and sore nails.

Colour to apply your chosen colour you need to use small amount of colour, brush from the base of the nail straight through to the top. Your colour will look very faint. Apply a second coat and the colour will come out. Using this method will help your nails dry quicker and will stop the nail chipping off. For a french look use a natural pink or peach or just leave the base coat and skip to nxt stage.

White French is a very popular colour for everyone, makes your nails look healthier and very glam. Very popular for weddings and parties if you cant find the colour you are looking for French Nail Colour suits all.

Apply the white tip, ideally you need to have atleast a couple of millimeters of free edge nail, using the white nail colour, brush away the excess nail paint, same as applying a full colour, brush from the side of the nail to the middle, I feel when doing this on your self keep your painting hand in one steady place on the nail and move your nail across the brush, do the same on the otherside, repeat on all nails, at this stage when you look at your nails, you will see you need more white, repeat this again and the colour will appear brighter. Use less nail colour (less is more) you will be able to controll the colour, if you use too much nail colour you will make a mess.  Dont worry if you get white nail paint on your skin, you can always wipe that away when you have finnished your completed look.

Top Coat  is applyed over the whole nail, top coat will protect your nail colour from chipping and fading of colour. bio sculpture top coat is fast drying and gurantess a perfect lustre and shiny finnish to clear and colour nails.

Wait atleast 10 to 15 mins for nails to dry, wipe away any nail colour which contacted your skin, using acetone free nail polish.

Moisturise your hand at the end. This will make your hands and nails look glam for the perfect night out.

You may take a few attemps to get the technique right.

How should I wear my makeup for a party tonight?

its a christmas party. my crush will be there.

im wearing a peach/grey striped off the shoulder top and jeans. i have a round/square face and dark eyes. i was thinking light pink eyeshadow with mascara, blush and lip shimmer. what do you think?
yeah, see, i dont want to go overboard. i always look bad with too much eye makeup and it smears.

A light smokey eye would be nice, just some sparkly white eyeshadow in the inner corner of your eye, some light grey on the outer part (make sure to blend the white over the darker colour) then some mascara and clear gloss on your lips and a bit of pink blush.

But if you want something more plain then either the light pink eyeshadow idea or just line your top eyelid with liquid liner, do a little mascara, blush and lip gloss.

Maybe contour you face too...If you have enough time to practice.
I have a round face too, so I usually run some light brown eyeshadow along my jaw line (mostly in the part near my ear) with a blush brush. If you have an angled brush that would be better.
Youtube how to contour your face, when it's done well it looks good. It's pretty hard to do in my opinion though, so I really don't do too much.
